How management quota works at BMSIT

Like other private engineering colleges in Karnataka, BMSIT fills its seats through three routes. Most seats go through KCET and COMEDK counselling, and the rest are filled by the college directly under the management quota. For non-minority private colleges, the 2026-27 seat-sharing agreement between the Government of Karnataka and the private college association sets the split at 45% for KCET, 30% for COMEDK and 25% for management and NRI seats. This agreement is renewed every year, so the 2027-28 split may change.

Management quota seats are allotted by the college based on its own process, not on your counselling rank. That makes this route useful if your KCET or COMEDK rank is not enough for the branch you want, or if you want to lock in BMSIT specifically.
